This Page will tell you and show you visuals of my helmet I created in 3ds max. The helmet is no bigger then 512 polygons , I have managed to create my helmet in 470 polygons.
The rotations of my model shows you Many angles what detail you may see on all angles. From this project I have learnt to model useing less polys instead of using 1000s. I can use this method in the future For creating games, Less polys means less lag for when you import it into an engine.
This post will show you visuals of my Cart scene that includes sword,helmet,shield and other props. These images will give you an idea on how my props would look like together and in a game.
For this project, I will be using these images as a reference to my modeling.I will be working in 3ds max and over time I will be updating this Blog post, the stages I will be going through to develop this helmet.
Below is a wire-frame mesh of my helmet I am modeling. The reason I took this design of the helmet is because it makes the appearance of the person who is wearing to be a lot better, Also it will give more protection when fighting in battle.
